Are you dealing with an oily T-Zone and a dry chin, or perhaps your forehead is breaking out while your cheeks are flaky? Most of us have combination skin, so what better way to combat all our problem areas in one go than by multi-masking!

Multi-masking is a fun new beauty trend taking off at the moment and is about using several different face masks simultaneously to target specific skin problems. For instance, a deep cleansing mask can treat an oily T-Zone, another moisturising mask nourishes dry areas while the under eye area benefits from a mask for more delicate areas. Assess your current skin condition and mask away!

4 Easy Steps To Create Your Own Customised Multi-Mask

Step 1:  T-Zone – Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

For many of us the pores in the T-Zone (forehead and nose) are the oiliest part of our face and are most prone to breakouts. Use a deep cleansing mask on this area to clean and tighten pores while deeply penetrating to remove excess oil and toxins.

Best type of masks to use:  mineral mud masks, The Green Mask, deep pore cleansing masks.

Step 2: Cheeks – Energising Mask

Fewer oil glands in our cheeks mean they tend be dryer showing up dark spots, dullness, fine lines and dry patches. But a brightening or energizing mask will work to tackle these issues.

Best type of masks to use: natural resurfacing mask, clay treatment mask, GinZing mask, coffee bean mask, cucumber mask, The Green Mask.

Step 3: Chin – Deep Cleansing/Moisturising Mask

Chins are tricky areas as they can either require deep cleansing if oily or moisturising if dry. Assess the condition of your chin and if the former then apply the same mask as in Step 1, if the latter then apply the same mask as in Step 2.

Step 4: Eyes – Delicate Hydrating mask

The under eyes needs special attention and shouldn’t be forgotten or lumped in with the rest of the face. The skin in this delicate area is thinner than the rest of our face and is most often the place that shows dark circles and puffiness when we’re tired and stressed. Use hydrating gels or eye patches specially formulated for this area.

Best type of masks to use: oxygenating masks, vitamin C gel mask, collagen gel mask, vitamin B3 gel mask

If using three or four different facial masks sounds too confusing, or downright expensive, then just concentrate on using one great overall treatment like The Green Mask for your T-Zone, chin and cheeks.
